Why is 90% of all customs derrived from grotesk images and death of some poor woodland creature. I know all about global warming,just as much as the next concerned person,but I'm wondering if this reality has an effect on everyone who is into this custom toy movement?
I'm not suggesting everybody go out of their way to change or that everything come out happy & gay, I am just wondering if anybody else has noticed.
I'm just saying...

what kind of customs would you rather see done. Personally i rather enjoy skulls and blood

I think it's because designer toys are a byproduct of counterculture. They're designed to shock, deviate from the norm and make you think. And look cool while doing all that. Contrary to the colourful, happy toys that we played with as kids, the world isn't Ken, Barbie, 1.5 kids and a picket fence. If that were a realistic depiction, Barbie would be a two-bit whore, Ken would have tattoos, handguns, and a drinking habit and the kids would be illegitimate.

Ha Ha Ha Ha I love it! All of you have sumed it up quite well and humorous at that. I grew up playing with G.I.Joe and always was at War with my friends trying see who could get in Barbie's pants after victory.
I also used my brother as a horse and rode him like a bucking bronco until he got really pissed and threw me across the room into the wall.
We didn't have all those little sweet toys they created in the late seventies like my little pony`n shit.
