SDCC exclusive info

Can't wait!!

Well, maybe I can... don't wanna wish away my summer.

SDCC was a blast, it was great meeting so many boardies in person. These are amazing. They are resin and so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using some type of mounting putty to keep them in place. I bumped my case and almost knocked them over.

Shipping comences tomorrow! I will email everyone and let them know that their packages are on the way. For you overseas people I will send the Customs tracking number. Just as a note (and not to blow my own horn) I kept nothing for myself. While I am a HUGE Jamungo fan, I felt it more important to help out the board members who requested help. Ferg has said that he will be making more colorways so I'll hopefully be bale to snag a set than. I had a good time at the Con and helping you people out was a pleasure. Please enjoy your Budcats.

Eric, thanks again for trying to get me a set of these! After debating about it for a while, I decided that I absolutely had to have a set. With only 50 of each produced, I really didn't want to take a chance & went the ebay route. I just wanted to put some of you at ease that one of the flipper's sets is legit and going to a good home. I hated to pay the higher price, but I think the fact that I was able to get a set without paying for a flight to San Diego makes it worth it - not to mention the combination of incredible artistry of Scott Wilkowski and Ferg!

I usually don't support flippers, but if there weren't any out there I guess I wouldn't be able to get many of these con exclusives.

Next time, I plan to be there so I don't miss out - the painted variants that Ferg was selling of the skllbuds would have been the highlight for me.

That's true, not to mention the cost to get into the con, and the $400 per night that many people spend for hotels. I'm totally NOT trying to justify shit, just showing how SDCC is a fuckin grip. There was a news report that said the avg, SDCC attendee, between hotel, what the spend at the con, food ect, spends $1400 a day. I think that's way too high, but fuck if I'm gonna argue with the news. haha

Hey don't apologize. I have been in the same position quite a few times. I have passed on many but I do remember having to go the Ebay route. I wish I could have gotten sets for everybody but I did what I could. Enjoy the Budcats. They are exceptional!

i think my expenses were $498 for the entire weekend for the hotel split between 4 people. $200 for the girl and i's 4 day pass. just under $500 for both of our airfare from florida round trip. about $60 a day on food. 2 trolly 4 day passes $30.

Holy crap....that's amazing. Your flights from florida were not much more then mine from NorCal. Don't forget to include how much you spent for the stuff in the con. haha

i was in the hotel from weds-mon for $498 for entire stay divided by 4 people. it was about 5 miles away but just a few stops on the trolly.

i dont even wanna get into how much i spent on toys though.
