Re: SDCC exclusive info
finally got mine they're really impressive in hand. and very awesome.
unfortunately both budcats suffered damage on the way. one of them had their left arm broken off, and the other's fuse was broken.
can anyone recommend a suitable way to put them back together? can i use super glue or contact adhesive on resin? is resin usually so fragile? these are my first resin pieces so it's a new thing to me.
any help would be appreciated! thanks!

I had the same thing happen to my white one. The fuse was broken clean at the base of the head, so I attached it with super glue. It's not noticeable, but it is frustrating with such a valuable piece. I used the Gorilla Glue brand of crazy glue, if that helps any. It doesn't leave any white residue.

Re: SDCC exclusive info
I to had the same problem with the wick on my black one. I sent Ferg a PM asking him for advise on what to use. He did not know what to tell me so he gave me Mr. Kelemer's email address from DKE. I sent him an email and he said he would ask Scott about it. That was on Monday but still have not heard from him. But anyway I fixed mine on Tuesday night using krazy glue gel and a toothpick and it worked just fine. I couldn't stand it anymore, I wanted those fuckers on my shelf to look at. Sorry to hear about yours getting broken too. But we are lucky to have a set at all. Thanks Wacko for all your advise!

Re: SDCC exclusive info
thanks for the advice guys. will try and see if i can fix them up over the weekend.
a pity these are so fragile, and so limited.
are resin pieces easy to break apart? just honestly curious about resin figures and how durable they are.

Got an email back from Mr. Kelemer this morning, he said Scott says to use a strong super glue. If you are not able to make it work you can send it back to him.

Welcome Mikey!
Glad things worked out OK.
For the record this is the best "super glue" to use on resin and vinyl figures in my experience:
Make sure its the gel, apply a small amount with a toothpick or something similar and take your time.
It doesn't leave white marks like most super glues, is very strong and has a short "tacky" phase before it becomes hard so if you mess up you have a chance to move what you are gluing. Also since it is a gel, it doesn't run into crevices or drip into areas you don't want the glue to show up.
Glad things worked out OK.

Re: SDCC exclusive info
I just got my budcats today. Holy shit
Fuckin incredible pieces and I'm so happy to have them. Great work Ferg & Scott, I can't wait to see the other ones. I think someone might have mentioned this earlier, maybe it was even me, but I'd love to see more collabs from you guys in the future. 9"ers, skllbuds...SQUADTS. These guys are awesome and I can't even imagine what he could do with the other platforms.
