well i love the whole look of this piece, the design, color, paint, detail...and i can see why some might love or hate the fungal fiend, but i think it all works well together

Josh:
Per your request, I'd be glad to give you some more specific feedback for you to use (or not) as you see fit. I'll send you an email so I don't bore the rest of the board. Best of luck.

Kickstarter wrapped up yesterday FULLY FUNDED! Thanks to everyone that pledged and showed their support! I couldn't have done it without you guys! Also, big ups to the C&D members I got a chance to chat with at DCON! I'm hoping to be a regular contributor to these boards! You guys are top shelf!

Pictures please.
I have an extra Big Sal that I've been wanting to commission but still trying to decide to contract.

Re: The Corrupter
Ok, things are finally under way, and it's time for mold making!
I'm in the "waste mold phase" these are the first molds, used to make initial casts in wax, allowing me to work out some kinks, and make some slight refinements to the sculpt before making the master mold.
This is a pic of everything used for the mold making part:
I'm using a much nicer silicone than I have in the past. It's a little more expensive, but you guys are worth it.
These are the glove molds for the corrupter and fungal fiend bodies:
This is made by brushing on several thin layers of silicone, building up a mold around the sculpt that can be rolled off, like a glove.
then, a fiberglass support shell is made to help the emptied mold hold it's shape:
The rest of the molds are simple two part molds, the trickiest of which, are the hands, due to the slim space between fingers and the way the fingers curve. here's a test pull trying to work the kinks out:
It's ok, but not perfect, this mold ended up getting redone. at 12 hours per mold, it's a bit of a waiting game seeing if things will work out.
Anyways, I won't bore you guys with much more of this stuff for now, just know I'm busting my butt over here to make this piece absolutely awesome for you!
More soon, but for now, here's the sticker design that should be coming in any day now:

Re: The Corrupter
Hey guys and Happy holidays!
Super quick update for you, production is coming along slowly, yet surely, waste molds are done, so the past week or so has been refining the wax casts, and making master molds, there have been some interesting issues along the way, but the rest of the process should go fairly smoothly, if not taking much longer than I was hoping for...
anyways, final batch of silicone and resins showed up, waiting for me to do some test pulls and get my resin colors locked in:
Here's the wax casts from the waste molds, mid-refinement. this stuff is kind of a pain to work with, but I'm hoping it will be a worth while step in making a better finished product.
And lastly, a little holiday doodle I did when I was tired of stirring silicone:
Happy holidays guys!

Didn't get into collecting tell it was too late on this guy... Lucky for me though I shot Josh an e-mail while he was working on my custom Squadt and he had a few extra. Just have to wait for him to paint it and I will also have one. This is such an amazing piece really excited that I was able to get one.

Re: The Corrupter
YEah, these are FINALLY landing at their new homes, and so far everyone is really giving great feedback. I got a few people asking about them after kickstarter wrapped up, so I rounded the edition up to 40. I'm just trying to juggle getting the last few finished and ready to go.
SO, I will be announcing a release for the remaining corrupters very soon. If you are subscribed to my newsletter, you'll have the first notice on the release, I'll also post here about release info on the remaining corrupters.
You can sign up for my newsletter here: http://www.fplusnever.com/contact.php
Thanks again to everyone that bought and supported the project, I know the rewards were a bit drawn out, But I thank you all for giving me the chance to learn the hard way and make this a reality!
Here's a little doodle I've had pinned up in the studio, I hadn't shared yet:
