while i agree that misfortune cat is the shit and one of the best sculpts i'm going to have to step in and say that i for one love kaiju.... sorry but monsters fucking rock!
i'm not going to say all kaiju is great just the same as i wouldn't say all western stuff is great,
but for me there's no denying dope sculpts like ojo rojo or obake.
there's even some good American kaiju; I for one am floored by Chris Ryniak's Big Muscamoot.

LOL, well, as I said, I don't collect Kaiju. I have a few KFGU pieces, and a few of the aforementioned drippy goo pieces. I can appreciate a few of the sculpts, and I have enjoyed some Secret Base and whatnot over the years. But I see tons of it when I go to Roto, and 98 percent of it just doesn't do it for me. To each their own, though, and if you like it then do your thing. That SB thread, however, is unbelievably absurd. I have no words.

Btw, Chris Ryniak's piece is completely off the hook, great stuff. They have some great artists lined up for that project.

I didn't mean to start this big war against kaiju or the virgins...I mean nice people at skullbrain. But I will go on record and say that urban vinyl, designer vinyl, asian vinyl or whatever you wanna call it, is about 75% crap.. Kind of like rap music or the Raiders draft picks this year (Big C sooooo cant wait to talk NFL smack with you this Fall).So everyone is entititled to their own opinion. Its us as the consumer to siff through the crap to find the nuggets of gold. (except JAMUNGO....only Vanbeater puts out the crap.. totally kidding so you know. )

I'm just hoping its 9" +, was there any details on the size of this baby? Man i honestly didnt expect the eyes to be plastic and so good looking, i was thinking it would all be vinyl.
