The sculpt is aves apoxie. It's a 2 part epoxy that air dries. I love the stuff and highly recommend it.

Mazinga is one of my faves, grew up with him.

This past year was definitely a great year for Mazinga and Devilman

update time. Starting to feel like I bit off more than I could chew putting so much sculpt on something so tiny. Body's done. Gotta finish the head now.

I don't generally sand after sculpting but might not have a choice this time. Was debating smoothing the head out with added sculpt. You know you haven't sanded in a while when you can't find your sandpaper. But I do want this to be epic so I can't leave the head the way it is. I've really gotta take an angled photo of him. He looks a lot better on an angle view.

Finally an update. Sculpt is done! Might clean it up here and there before painting
