Still waiting to receive mine. I will definitely make a rebuild. This Led system is just awesome, I hope we will see more squadts this way in the future.

Any one else led eyes go super dim after leaving them on for a while, so dim they almost look turned off. Or is that just mine?

Your batteries might be about to die.

Try switching them, lets hope that works.

NUUK and BYO I have definitely get dimmer if left on. Batteries are new, maybe have been on for a total of 120 seconds on each. Got a new BYO end of last week but haven't put any batteries in it yet, they are too damn expensive.

Buy em on ebay. They won't be name brand, but they're dirt cheap.

Been meaning to check there and Amazon. Grabbed them locally when NUUK first showed up. To say I was shocked by the cost would be an understatement!!

Green bugs/Green LEDs






I think orange LEDs with the green bugs will be sweet.

This is so awesome! I just picked him up last night at rotofugi, and for the life of me I cannot get these lenses out. I even took the helmet apart and tried to push em out from the inside with no luck, they're not budging at all. What did you use to get em out? Thanks again for any help!

It seems that those lenses are glued on. That's why they are not easy to remove. To remove the lenses on mine, I pushed them out from the inside using a micro screwdriver and a small hammer. I ruined the lenses but got some orange ones from Rotofugi.

That's awesome. Another reason why I just need to go out and buy one already. Just waiting for them to re-stock online at rotofugi.

How hard is it to switch out led's and what's the best place to purchase the different color leds?

I found my LEDs on ebay. You have to look for 3mm LEDs and you have plenty colors to choose from.
After that, it's not really difficult to switch out the LEDs as long as you know how to handle a soldering iron.
