why do you collect?

collecting for me gives me creative inspiration, ideas, color, and they're just too dam cool not to be on my shelf! Give me MORE!!

Jamungo showed me that toys evolved into its own sub culture from the toys i grew up with.

I love how each toy has it's own personality.

Every toy tells a story from its creators mind that needs to be seen. Whether its just silly bullshit (smokin labbits) or something sleek and defined (squbes).

When I'm doing it - I feel alive. Easy as that..

I collect to hang on to my youth.

I collect because it's something that no one in my area understands

I collect because toys are a financially accessible form of a type of art, the series often expose me to new artists I may not have encountered otherwise, and there is often a fun camaraderie in the toy scene that brings together so many people from so many walks of life with such vastly different backgrounds.

Collecting toys is healthier than smoking ROCK!.

i collect because the other option is unimaginable.

I collect because i refuse to grow up

I collect because it's art that normal people can afford. I'd rather be surrounded by hundreds of cool & custom 'grown-up' toys than have one or two paintings that can't be touched! (Also, I'm addicted)

Because toy design artists are cool! This week, I've been lucky - I've won Ferg's contest for the custom BUD & I just won END's contest on Argonaut Resins for the Tuttz T-Shirt!

I'm on a roll - my wife says I should go buy some lottery tickets now!

i collect to be inspired, and because i grew up an only child so i never learned to share.

Because after a shitty day, I can always go home, look at my collect and smile.

Because I am nuts, I already had plenty of things to spend money on.

Because it gives me a chance to stay intouch with what I really enjoyed being young,discovery and excitement.
