Best way to pop out the eye lenses?

I read somewhere on these forums that hairgel works well. Never tried it myself, but it seems plausible - tacky enough, but not permanent or corrosive.

glues dots (the removable kind) work real well. just rip off a tiny piece and place it near the edge of the lens in a couple of places.
museum gel also works really well.

yep, I also use the dart method as quent suggested. And if the suction is too weak, I use a folded piece of duct tape. I did use a pin when I first started popping lenses out, but ended up scratching the lens.

Just got a giant pack of non-branded nerf darts delivered that I bought off ebay.  I hadn't fully appreciated how utterly perfect these things were for getting out obstinate lenses! Even one that I'd thought would never come out as it was wedged in so tight came out really easily with a little heating, coupled with a nerf dart.

No more fiddling for ages or causing any scratching here. - quentdiggy deserves a medal!

Yep, those darts sure are handy. I finally managed to pop out the lens on my FROZN gassed and it appears that they were slightly glued on, some paint was removed in the process. Very minor.

i just assume that lens are glued if it doesnt come with extras
threezero should save money and stop using glue =)

Sorry to bring this thread back from the grave, but I read through it and didn't find the answer to my question. Ferg said that you shouldn't use the hair dryer directly on the lenses. That being said, where should you point the hair dryer? Thanks for the help!

can someone tell me how many mm's the eyes are?
I think I might have a tool that can pop them out perfectly, and I don't have a squadt infront of me at the moment.
