COLLECT AND DESTROY FOR CANCER AWARENESS DRIVE

Having not given Cancer much thought until recently, I feel compelled to help in the cure for what is an all too common disease.

Here are a few key facts:
• Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for 7.6 million deaths (around 13% of all deaths).
• Deaths from cancer worldwide are projected to continue rising, with an estimated 13.1 million deaths in 2030.
• Cancer kills more people than AIDS, Malaria and TB combined.
• About 70% of all cancer deaths occurred in low- and middle-income countries.

So here are two items that I will launch starting today.

I. CAD 4 CAD Raffle

Prizes for the CAD 4 CAD Raffle:

First Place: The Blank 8" Misfortune Cat that I recently won in one of Ferg’s CAD member appreciation giveaways.



Second Place: A sticker and pin set also provided by Ferg.



Third Place: A 3" Misfortune Cat signed and provided by Ferg.



Each CAD 4 CAD Raffle ticket will cost $5.

The CAD 4 CAD Raffle will run for 4 weeks and end at midnight CT on the night of Saturday December 15th.

All proceeds will be given to one of the cancer charities suggested by CAD board members with the final decision to be made by chiprender.

chiprender will be sent the entire amount raised so that he can make the official donation in the name of CAD.

You can buy as many tickets as you like.

You can also by a ticket(s) for a fellow board member.

Once the raffle sale ends I will have someone, hopefully Ferg, draw the winning ticket number.

I will mail to the winners their prizes in time for the Holidays.

II. CAD 4 CAD DONATIONS

Straight up donations which again will be given to one of the cancer charities suggested by CAD board members with the final decision to be made by chiprender.

This portion of the donation drive will also run for 4 weeks and end at midnight CT on the night of Saturday December 15th.
