I'm just glad that the hawks won't be facing either the kings or the blues in the next round....

I am a Wild Fan, but there is not much to cheer for. All Goalies are out or suck and we can't get a puck to get in the net. Minnesota sports. It's like a disability.

^ With no QB? I mean we have had an AMAZING run with the Williams', Cedric Griffin in the middle, and insane Offense and Defensive lines, but without the QB WR connection, it's just all Adrian....

I think Matt just needed a change of scenery plus a solid line and run game, and he'll be more like the qb we all saw at new england...

^ Got ahead of myself. There were 3 "tragedies" that pretty much put us in the the Bowl if they didn't happen. MN fans consider those pretty much bowl seasons.

1.The 1975 Hail Mary Game. We were up 14-10, no hope for the Cowboys, and they pulled off a Hail Mary for a TD. The crowd was already celebrating the win and the crowd went silent. People actually threw up in the stands. If we would have won, we would have gone to the bowl.

2.The aforementioned 1998 Atlanta Debacle. Cunningham, Moss, and Anderson have all time leading point scoring year in the NFL, Anderson misses 0 field goals in the regular season, also an NFL record, and misses the game winner. We would have gone to the bowl and had the talent to win easily.

3. 12 men on the field. 2010. Ryan Longwell proves to be a Rock of a kicker all year, and is readying to put in a 35 yarder to win and go to the Bowl with Favre. Dumbass coach puts 12 men in the huddle and the penalty puts us out of range. Farve throws an interception and the Vikes miss the bowl again.

In the 70's, the Vikes didn't just lose 4 Super Bowls, they lost 4 in a ROW, as the most dominant team around. We break records, makes dreams, and never win a bowl...or a cup
