Re: NOZZEL S001.50
Just some things to note:
These guys cost almost the same as the big brothers to produce. Yes, they are small, but they require lots of tooling, plus the cut and sew. The actual volume of material doesn't really come into play on low run projects like these. The bulk of the cost comes from tooling cost and factory time. (machine time, paint, cut and sew, assembly, packaging)
Shipping on these (for a single piece) costs almost $25 to get them stateside.
Obviously at that price (for this size) it doesn't make sense to roll shipping cost into the price of the figure, but instead offer the multiple piece shipping option. I underestimated what the shipping cost would be, so I am taking a hit on shipping to keep the overall cost as low as possible.
After the S001 pieces, plans are to offer sets, to make the .50 project more affordable/viable.

Re: NOZZEL S001.50
Well all the things you say are so true @Ferg
Smaller almost alway's mean that it cost more then bigger !
Yea whe where all thinking the price was including shipping , but then again it is still not bad at all !
When i buy Squadt's , shipping is almost the biggest cost , look at ebay and i have to pay 40$+ to get the Squadt shipped !
O man is it monday already ? Deciding if i take 2 or 3
And keep up your awesome work @Ferg
O and who is going to sell me a Squadt S001 Nozzel

Nothing wrote:Except a .5 Squadt IS NOT HALF THE SIZE OF A REGULAR SQUADT. Fucking figure it out. .
Sure, I understand that half the height isn't half the size, volume wise.. - You are quite correct. However, there's not need to be rude about it and I stand by my original point, half the HEIGHT, half the price. Production costs aren't going to be much different and neither are shipping costs.
At the end of the day, this is a new venture for Playge.. - It might be that it turns out that it's not financially viable. If enough people don't buy the .50's, that's that.
I'd love for it to be a bit cheaper but I'd love most things I buy to be a bit cheaper too...
Nothing wrote:Don't shit on people discussing the release with other valid opinions.
I don't think anyone is shitting on people for discussing other opinions? It all seems pretty reasonable and civil for a discussion on an Internet forum where there are differing opinions.. - I, for one, certainly welcome these kinda discussions.

Oh I apologize I didn't know that your a fucking vinyl guru...my bad obviously you know a lot about production costs huh? That's cool tell me more about how you know how much shit costs!!!
Haven't you ever heard about not having anything nice to say keep your trap shut??? Guess not... All it takes is for one person to bitch and moan and boom all the band waggoning begins... Theirs tons of shit out my price range, but I don't bitch to the producer of the product about how "I'm a fucking designer toy production cost guru" and I think you should charge less!!! Take the crying to the chat box or pm and keep the negativity off the boards!!!
Also my point in articulation must have been misunderstood. Let me dumb it down for you...Omen (which I'm using because that was YOUR original price comparison) has 3 pieces of the same material glued together...squadt assembled has minimum of 11 pieces of DIFFERENT materials... Hmmm I see your point....
P.s. I do fucking pose my squadts, they are a FUCKING toy!!!

Re: NOZZEL S001.50
I'll have to say chase put it 💯 ! + many others. We will see who the true CADERS really are I guess with this drop . Btw comparing a cheap painted pics of plastic to a squadt is like comparing a Kia to a Lamborghini or jacks frozen pizza to your favorite pizzeria lol . I do think shipping is high, but anything you get from a manufacturer over seas has normally a Minimum 25$ shipping fee because it's insured and If other postage add ons. Also those complaining about the shipping stop and think about how many times you paid 15$ to have an item shipped in the USA or paid crazy prices plus shipping for a flipped item at double or plus on the original cost . Any who I can go on adding in for days on this just wanted to say @fergbag those of us who support this 💯 want to see more of these badass .50s so keep them coming💣🔥

Whereas your posts are positive and well-conceived huh? I just gave you three examples of well-known brands where your 'Half the height=half the price' is nonsense.chase1319 wrote:Nothing wrote:Awesome news! "Take the negativity off the boards?" Yes, if only the board had more members that follow your shining example of exemplary behavior. Reread the garbage you just posted, hypocrite. I don't care how many people agree with you. It's not bold nor difficult to take the popular stance while playing to your crowd, swearing and condescending opposing opinions. You personify the attitude around here which causes people like me to lurk or leave the boards entirely and trade elsewhere rather than give hook-up prices to boardies. Posters like you don't bring positivity to the boards, you drive people away with intimidation tactics.
Nothing changes the fact that these pieces are expensive relative to similar brands. We can all appreciate the high developmental costs which make this a difficult venture. I am glad there are people willing to support it regardless of the cost. But there should have been multiple figures released at once to alleviate the stress of the high shipping charges and that's the main point.

Re: NOZZEL S001.50
I think the price/shipping discussion has pretty much run its course.
I respect everyones opinions but the facts are stated in my previous post.
I hate playing mod so please be respectful going forward. If you have more to say, take it up via PMs or off of CAD.

Re: NOZZEL S001.50
Half the size half the price, nothing it's pretty much there. You have to stop thinking that way I agree the shipping is high but when you think about it all it's really not. It's I regular squadt is about 105$ shipping is in the price so if he did them for 105$ 2 pack shipped would you feel better comes to half price when you buy 2x40$=80+25$ shipping its seriously 7.50$ more when you buy one not to over half price . This figure probably has 7 dies/molds to make the figures that's for the helmet, head, body ,legs , two sets of are plus lens, in addition the weapons , and clothing is whole different issue for the price it's really fair. Verse one single body die/mold toys and figures that's also why they are so cheap. Any thing in production costs more when there is more to it I'm in the steel forging industry and it's the same thing if people want one single pice of steel made into lets say a gun iron sight it will be about 20$cleaned and finish one die used to make it ,versus lets say a kick stand , 3-5 dies are used just to make one kickstand plus welding chroming and finished polishing it's going to be a lot more let's say close to 80$. Hope this may help you see it in a different light of comparison.
