Well I watched it in Ultramax 3D... Whatever that is.. I think I was just annoyed with the 3D. Not a lot of HOOTIN and HOLLERING when the movie ended. I think a lot of people didn't like how it ended.

Bummer. Think I will just wait for blu ray. Movies cost an arm, a leg, and a nut when take my whole fam. Shit when I take my son with 3D and snacks its an easy $50!!!

Same here among other current situations.....
Re: - Movies -
Hahaha! Iron man 3 or the Andrew bell misfortune cat...easy call
I really love 3D movies though. So immersive. Seeing avatar while high as fuck was a pretty unforgettable experience. I know I'll end up seeing the new Star Trek just for the 3D and I don't even like Star Trek. At all.

Hmm, I'm kinda disappointed to hear it was just OK Anthony, maybe it was the whole 3D experience? I personally don't enjoy or watch movies in 3D. But big action movies like Iron Man I think require to be seen in theaters to get the full range of visual and audio effects that most people wouldn't get at home, unless you have some crazy theater set up then you're golden w/ blu-ray. I'm still looking forward to seeing it this weekend.

Re: - Movies -
@Chase I have the answer for you. You can go watch the movie and then you can tell it to your son as a bedtime story lol. Cheesy lol.
@Loner and DL I have cut back on a lot of regular entertainment stuff, if I go to the theater it has to be something I REALLY want to watch. One of the other cut backs is my girlfriend and I won't be renewing our annual Disneyland passes this year ($1300 for two people). That money could be spent to go to a few art shows.
@cankle Iron Man was visually appealing, but when it got really busy (action) the 3D didn't help me. Definitely watch it in 2D. I will watch it again this weekend, but just at the regular theater.

Was it any good?
I liked Django a fair bit. Its always good fun to watch movies that are so predictable and at the same time have you guessing what's gonna happen at every turn.

That machete movie looks like so much fun to watch.
As for the Hobbit, I want to see it, but its not on my 'must' watch list at all.
