crazy glue

so i received a really rare bud today in the mail and its leg was crazy glued on. problem is that whoever did the fix job let the glue run all over the place. any suggestions how to remove this???

y'all dont even want to know what a RARE piece this is. So sad just knowing the glue is there but you cant even see it from the front so it still looks cool.

I don't think that there are any chemical solvents that can remove the superglue that also won't affect the plastic of your candypaint.

Acetone removes superglue, it can be found in superglue solvent, nail polish remover, etc. But it also removes the paint that is used on most BUDs. It also tends to dissolve the vinyl that BUDs are made of. I don't know if it does the same to the GID or clear BUDs tho, but it probably will, in either case it is sure to damage the paint.

I don't think Goo gone will do anything to superglue. I know Goof Off will get superglue off, but it will also dissolve you toy pretty quickly.

I wish more people "fixed" toys and shit will Elmers. Elmers is clear when it dries, archival and strong. It is also compatible with Vinyly toys (the chemical name for Elmers and other whtie glues is polyVINYLacetate) and it washes off with warm water. If elmers is too runny, get Ailleen's Tacky Glue, which is also a PVA variant, and will actually hold shit in place while it dries to a flexible-clear bond.

Reveal the name of the crazy supergluer. A little dab'll do ya.

the super supergluer is not on this board. but i guess there is nothing to be done except now they should be called candypaint30 instead of 31.
