motorbot wrote:as far as i know there are 40 budscribers, give or take. there will also be a few for ferg and vanbeater that will be in the jamungo collection.
don't go thinking that some are going to pop up on the bay. i won't have any to sell, and afterward no more will be made. this is about taking care of the loyal fans
i finally finished up some show pieces so i can focus on these guys and commissions. i'll keep everyone informed
Got ya....I guess I was under the incorrect idea that there was less then 30 budscribers.

Would that mean somebody got a sub just to re-sell stuff? If so, that sucks ass!

CAD board members will get first dibs on the 9"ers. The rest will go up for sale on the J website.
when Halloween gets a little closer we will start a list.

Hey man, put me at the top of that list!
The Halloween BUD looks cool enough to be worth getting my GF mad at me
Re: progress pics
DC, you can't make a statement like that and expect us to take the high road! LOL
I am so freakin pumped about these, though, seriously. I'm just waiting for some pricing info, before I decide what to do.

Re: progress pics
sorry i've not been on much. i've had a lot going on, but as you can see on my flickr things are rolling along.
my personal deadline is the first of october, and no amount of sleep deprivation will keep that from happening.
keep your eyes on toysrevil and you'll see what's been occupying my attention of late

Hey MB, thanks for the tip about the Magic Sculp.
I just got some and its pretty damn awesome! Its very easy to smooth out with water and has the perfect firmness, it is easy to shape and holds that shape without reinforcement.
I just wish there were more convenient places to buy it online (got my from a reseller on eBay). Most of the sites listed on the magicsculp.com website either don't take Paypal, only take phone orders or have some extremely crappy 1989 order form that obviously feeds to an email, and I don't feel comfortable submitting my credit card info to an email addy.
Re: progress pics
i always get it from sculpt.com
they aren't the best about quick shipping, but i've never had an issue with them

Re: progress pics
Any idea of how much the larger Mummy BUDs will cost?
Halloween is not to far away and I need to start saving my pennies in case I get a chance to get one.
