Re: FLIPPING ON THIS BOARD.
I wanted to ask, since flipping is a touchy topic, if you get a new toy to trade for an old one is it flipping?
I, personally, am not planning on doing this but I noticed someone was asking about trading the Halloween playge doc for the retail one and wanted to know where does the line blur?

Thats a trade, I get something and hold it as bait for something else. There is no monetary gain, and It might be the case that a collector might prefer the item I have than the one they have. I dont see a problem there.
Flipping is gaining monetary advantage alone.

Yeah, I was wondering cause Ive seen other people very critical about the trading and I was curious how its perceived here.

i think the sensitivity for some might be around a small drop where someone gets multiplies for potential trades

It's all about giving someone else a chance as well, as long as you keep in mind how you would feel if someone snagged the last 9 Doc's away in front of you
Well, that's my opinion at least

Does this forum have a list of great sayings? If it does this needs to make it.

So with Designer CON coming up, and me not able to make it. How does one get all the really awesome Scott Wilkowski pieces without buying from flippers on ebay?

I almost bought it without thinking about the fact that I can't afford it at the moment. Is $300 a good price for it? Or will I find it cheaper?

Re: FLIPPING ON THIS BOARD.
wait till you find something on the board. iirc they retailed for 125, so 300 is a little asinine..Easily_Amused wrote:LonerStoner wrote:blindboxx2334 wrote:not sure which thread i saw on here talking about the infected mfc's and shitty flippers on ebay, but it looks like another one is back....

Yeah it's really fucked up to see this when this awesome piece should've gone to a real collector who really appreciates the art of these toys and the guys behind it.blindboxx2334 wrote:i think there was one that just sold it for retail on here not too long ago.

Wow, flippers suck. I want a second one to go with my GID collection (the one I bought will nest with the other LMFCs), but that is too much for me. Sad somebody lost out to a flipper.
