Who knows man, they got a young core that's only getting older with each early exit. Our D just got pounded by tampa and we were severely out coached. I thought for sure we were going to have a coaching change but rumor now is that's not the case. I don't think you blow up a team that has been good for the past 4 years and still has a bright future, but they gotta figure something out. I think we have 7 ufa's so things will be interesting.

Looks like the thrashers are going to be the new/old Winnipeg Jets. Wonder where/if Phoenix will still move. Would probably cause a shakeup of divisions, rumors of NSH, Columbus or DET!?!? moving to the southeast division.

the Flames in '80 and now the Thrashers in '11
i wish the NHL would get their heads out of their asses and stop placing teams in warm weather cities
with no youth hockey in southern cities, the only fans you get are tansplanted fans from the north

I think Phoenix is gone for sure, been struggling for awhile. Your right though, not sure why the NHL is trying to force feed all these markets, no reason for FL to have 2 teams. Their arenas are always empty when the caps play there.
