Anyone into boxing, kickboxing, MMA etc etc?

Good weekend for British boxing with Haye beating Ruiz. Shame the British press are getting a bit ahead of themselves though painting him as the second coming. I dont think he has ANYTHING for either Kilitschko brother.

Roy Jones NEEDS to retire after this weekend, so does B-Hop, a bit reckless of him calling out Haye (Although i think Haye has nothing for either Klitschko, he will KTFO an over the hill B-Hop) It will never happen anyways as Haye is concentrating on the HW division, im not sure if B-Hop will want to fight at that weight and if he did it would be even more of a massacre.

MMA wise, Anderson Silva & BJ Penn are in action on the UFC card this weekend which is cool. I hear today that Fedor has dammaged his hand in training which means that we wont see him in action until the end of the summer

Anyways, not sure if anyone here is into any of this but hey ...

On another note (soccer) Arsenal are playing Barcalona in the Champions Leage tonight .. I have been in prayer sessions since 8am ..

only soccer I watch is my daughter. Love the combat sports though. Going to a karate tournament both of the next two weekends, and going to watch some Muay Thai fights on the first. Unfortunately that means I will miss the Mayweather fight.

I think we are witnessing something great in Messi, he is only 22 .. He is easily the greatest player on the face of the planet & could potentialy go on and become the greatest ever! Amazing.

barca rulez. i went to supercopa in barcelona '06. it was my first real futbol match but so fuckin crazy for a sporting event. Ronaldinho FTW too bad he plays for milan now.

I am not much of a sports fan at all. But I was always dissapointed that Survivor wasn't about actual survival.

If I had my way, the island would have tons of hidden cameras all over the place. The "contestants" would be dropped in with one crate of US Relief canned and powdered food and they wuold be left there un-molested by game shows hosts (or anyone) for 4 months.

The winner would be the last person alive, and if they need to eat some of the other contestants to be that last person, so be it.

If at the end of 4 month more than one person is alive, they get put into a pit with a pack of rabid dogs and whoever is last person to get mauled to death would win the million dollars.

None of that pussy "voting each other off the island" bullshit.

Did anyone see that James Toney has signed to the UFC?? .. He has been talking a lot of shit about boxers vs MMA fighters .. He called Fedor 'one-dimensional' .. His first MMA fight - he will either ko whoever it is in the first 20 seconds or he will be on his back tapping from a knee bar in 20 seconds. Should be interesting.

lol true .. very much doubt they will ever meet, Toney is signed up on the UFC roster, either way if they did - Fedor by arm bar in under 15 seconds .. Toney will probably fight Randy Coture in his first MMA bout i imagine. Would be logical, two vets of their respective sports going at it.

Fedor is due a loss though, as great as he is, he is getting old, bit slower .. Not sure how he would fare against some of these genetic freak super heavyweights that are out there now unfortunately.
